Selma Jubilee March Accessibility Events

When and Where: March 5 – 8, 2026 in Selma, Alabama

Disability Events Organizer: The American Association of People with Disabilities (AAPD).

Description: Every year, organizers and community members from across the country gather for the Selma Jubilee, a powerful event that honors the legacy of Bloody Sunday and commits to the ongoing fight for justice. Join us in Selma, Alabama from March 5 – 8, 2026 to honor those who marched for equality 61 years ago and reflect on the intersection of disability rights and civil rights.

As part of the Jubilee weekend, national and local disability organizers will convene to march together and provide accessibility support during the events.

If you plan to attend, want to march with our cross-disability cohort, or need accessibility support or would like to volunteer to support others, please register.
