On July 16, 2026, the FCC released a Public Notice to announce the anticipated renewal of its Consumer Protection and Accessibility Advisory Committee (CPAAC), and to invite applications for membership to the CPAAC. The CPAAC’s mission is to make recommendations to the Commission regarding topics of particular interest to consumers that will be specified by the Commission relating to disability access and the needs and interests of consumers.
