Verizon Small Business Digital Ready’s featured resource, Getting Your Pitch Right for Any Audience, will help you explain your business clearly, build a short pitch that grabs attention and follow a step-by-step guide.
We’re spotlighting “Getting Your Pitch Right for Any Audience,” a self-paced Verizon Small Business Digital Ready course designed to help you:
- Clarify the value your business delivers
- Create a one-sentence elevator pitch that grabs attention
- Tailor your message for customers, funders, partners or media
- Build a simple pitch deck that supports your goals
Why does this matter? A strong pitch helps you share your value faster, whether you’re networking, selling or opening your doors.

Quick Tip for May
Choose one practice to complete before the month ends:
- Practice your 60-second pitch in front of a friend or coach, or use an AI tool.
- Ask: “What part of my business sounds most interesting or most clear to you?”
- Keep it focused on the problem you solve and the results clients experience. Do not share proprietary details, client names or personal/sensitive information with AI tools.
