About the Self-Audit Tool
The Center on Disability (CoD) is partnering with Special Olympics Health to develop a self-audit tool to help healthcare providers and practitioners assess and improve the experiences and outcomes of patients with disabilities, specifically individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD).
Audit Tool Dates: May 12 – June 11, 2025
The audit is self-paced and should be completed between May 12 and June 11. You will answer questions about your office’s policies and procedures, staff training, physical space, and operations. The results are confidential and will not be shared beyond the project team.
Why participate?
- Your feedback will directly shape the final product to improve healthcare accessibility.
- Your medical office will receive $600 for your time and input.

The Center on Disability (CoD) and the Center to Advance Community Health & Equity (CACHE), both programs of the Public Health Institute (PHI), are collaborating with Special Olympics Health to develop this tool.
