March 12, 2024
10—11:30 AM, Eastern Time
Host: Florida ADA Coordinator’s Network
Free, online event
Topic: Civil Rights & the ADA Coordinator
The US Attorney’s Office for the Middle District of Florida will speak at the March Florida ADA Coordinator Network meeting.
State and local governments have specific requirements under Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act to ensure all facilities, programs, activities, and services are accessible.
Understanding your obligations, how your staff ensure compliance, and the emerging trends and lessons learned by others will reduce barriers to access and increase customer service.
Your organization may not be required to have an ADA Coordinator, yet it is strongly recommended that you incorporate these best practices into your organization.
Presenters: US Attorney’s Office, Middle District of Florida
Do you have questions about reasonable modifications of policies and procedures, effective communication, integrated settings, design standards? This workshop is for you. You do not need to be a member of the Florida ADA Coordinators Network to attend.
This is a free, virtual event.
