“Disability & Philanthropy: From the Telethons of the Past to Disability Justice Today”
Each year, the Longmore Lecture in Disability Studies hosts a conversation that continues Paul Longmore’s legacy of scholar-activism. This year, we are pleased to feature the expertise of three disabled leaders in philanthropy, who will share how their efforts challenge the troubled history of fundraising’s harmful representations and practices for disabled people and instead bring disability justice into their efforts today.
