Applications for Participants in Working Groups Due: June 11, 2026

On May 12, 2026, the FCC released a Public Notice announcing the formation of the Communications Security, Reliability, and Interoperability Council (CSRIC) for its 10th two-year term (CSRIC X) and the list of members of the Council. Among the topics CSRIC X will consider and address are: “Expanding NG911’s Multimedia Availability and Increasing 911 Accessibility.” CSRIC X will be organized and operated as a Federal Advisory Committee.

By this Public Notice, the FCC is also seeking applicants for participation in the working groups (not as members of the Council). The FCC seeks participants from representatives of various sectors of the communications industry, representatives of state, local, and tribal government agencies and organizations, and representatives of consumers and community organizations. Working group members will be selected to balance the expertise and viewpoints that are necessary to effectively address the issues to be considered by the Council.

Applications for participation in a CSRIC X working group must be submitted to the FCC by Thursday, June 11, 2026. Additional details regarding membership in CSRIC X and procedures for submitting applications are set forth in the May 12, 2026, Public Notice. Applications must be sent by email to CSRIC@fcc.gov.
