Video Programming Accessibility Forum – Online Closed Captioning
The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) will host the Video Programming Accessibility Forum – Online Closed Captioning on December 2, 2021, from 1:00 pm to 3:45 pm Eastern Time. The Forum will explore the state of closed captioning availability for online video programming and discuss ways to enhance accessibility. The Forum also will explore current and prospective best practices and other efforts that could enhance the availability of closed captioning online.
This public online event will be captioned and sign language interpreted via www.fcc.gov/live. Additional reasonable accommodations for people with disabilities are available upon request by emailing FCC504@fcc.gov or calling the Consumer and Governmental Affairs Bureau at 202-418-0530 (voice).
