Unleashing Value and Talent: JAN and EARN Resources for Today’s Workforce

Description: Join the Job Accommodation Network (JAN) and Employer Assistance and Resource Network on Disability (EARN) on February 12 at 2:00 p.m. (Eastern Time) for a free webcast, “Unleashing Value and Talent: JAN and EARN Resources for Today’s Workforce.” The U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Disability Employment Policy (ODEP) works to ensure that Americans with disabilities have opportunities to build careers, contribute their talent, and achieve economic mobility. A central part of this mission is providing employers and others with practical, high-quality services and resources that translate policy into practice and help organize supports that lead to success. This virtual outreach event will highlight two key ODEP-funded technical assistance centers:

JAN, the leading source of free, expert, and confidential guidance on job accommodations and disability employment issues, and
EARN, which offers information and tools to help employers recruit, hire, retain, and advance qualified workers with disabilities.

Participants will learn how to access JAN services, use AskJAN.org to identify workplace accommodations, and explore how EARN provides practical tools that turn disability policy into practice.

Together, JAN and EARN empower workers with disabilities and help employers and policymakers set high expectations, retain talent, and put productivity enhancing accommodation practices into action in today’s evolving workplace.
