Title III of the ADA: Common Myths and Mix-Ups

Wednesday, November 16, 2022
2:00 pm – 3:30pm, Eastern time

Register for the webinar: https://conta.cc/3UkRPOV

Description:
A wide variety of private businesses are covered by Title III of the ADA, which includes some unique provisions related to ensuring that services and facilities are accessible to people with disabilities. But it also includes a “grandfather clause” for older buildings, right? And the ADA always overrides state law, right?

Join us for a discussion of these and other common myths and mix-ups that create or contribute to confusion and consternation for business operators! We’ll address what Title III covers, what it requires in terms of facility access, operational policies and practices, and communicating with customers with disabilities, as well as how it interplays with other federal, state, and local laws.

There is no charge to attend this session unless you would like a certificate of attendance (see below). The webinar will be captioned.

Certificates of Attendance:
Certificates of attendance are available. The cost is $10. To purchase a certificate, you must first register for the session. You will receive a registration confirmation message with a payment link to purchase a certificate. You must pay for the certificate before the webinar. Instructions for claiming your certificate are provided during the live webinar.
