Overview
In this webinar, we will focus on the evolution of language in the accessibility field. We will explain why the change happened in recent years and not earlier and provide useful examples of the changes. This culture shift does not only affect English, but it is a global phenomenon. That is why we will not only provide examples in English but in different languages such as Spanish or German.
Speaker Bio
Verónica is a professional digital accessibility consultant committed to delivering high-quality, engaging, inclusive and accessible experiences for a diverse and global audience. With over 12 years of experience in the gaming and localization industry, including leadership positions, she has a strong background in leading multicultural teams, optimizing processes, resources, and costs. Her work focuses on the end consumer, providing them with accessible user experiences through accessibility and inclusive language. As a CPACC and ADS certified she can identify and address challenges and opportunities for improvement around digital accessibility environments. She is also an Accessible Player Experiences Practitioner by AbleGamers.
