The rapidly emerging landscape of Artificial Intelligence (AI) holds tremendous promise and opportunities for society. However, there are misconceptions about what AI is and how it works. What qualifies as AI? What is it capable of? How will AI impact people with disabilities? In this webinar we will define current AI technology and discuss real life examples of how it can benefit and harm people with disabilities. We will also be providing time to answer questions near the end of the webinar.

This webinar is being provided by Johan Rempel, UX/ICT Quality Assurance Manager, and John Toles, Accessibility Specialist, from Center for Inclusive Design and Innovation (CIDI) at Georgia Tech.

Live captioning and American Sign Language (ASL) interpretation are both being made available for this webinar.
