Description: You are invited to join the Disability Resource Network for our inaugural fundraiser, Reflections: A Fireside Chat with The Honorable Anthony “Tony” Coelho! Join Disability Resource Network for an evening with former United States Representative and the primary author and sponsor of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the Honorable Tony Coelho, as we celebrate Disability Pride Month and embark on the 35th Anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)! Tony Coelho is a fierce disability advocate that has made a lasting impact in history and is a person with a lived experience with a disability.

This event will take place on July 19, 2025, at the Alabama School of Cyber Technology and Engineering. We will have a social hour at 5:00 PM [Central Time], with the program to follow at 6:30 PM [Central Time]. We look forward to an engaging conversation as we reflect on the history and creation of the ADA. Proceeds from this event will be used to continue our mission of promoting independent living to individuals with disabilities, as well as providing scholarships to individuals with disabilities in our service area.

As this is our Inaugural fundraiser and the debut of our Reflections series, we look forward to the community coming out and supporting this amazing event. Early bird tickets are now on sale until June 30th for $45 per person.

Late registration tickets are $60 per person, beginning on July 1 – 19.
