Reaching parents of children with disabilities in underserved communities with evidenced-based knowledge and information can be a challenge. Often this knowledge and information is unavailable or inaccessible to them in their communities. Dr. Sandy Magaña will present different examples of disseminating information to diverse communities using a parent/peer leader and curriculum-based model. Attendees will be encouraged to think about how they might disseminate ADA and other accessibility information using a similar approach.
