Keynote Speaker: Wally Tablit, APSE Executive Committee, Equity, Diversity & Inclusion
Wally Tablit (He/Him/His) is a recognized leader in the field of Supported Employment with over 2 years’ experience working with people with disabilities, and he is recognized as a strong collaborator and colleague among his peers. Wally has served as a director of several employment agencies in WA State and is a trainer and consultant on best practices around Employment First and Equity, Diversity, and true Inclusion.
Wally was elected to the National Board of APSE (Association of People Supporting Employment First) in 2017, and was recently elected as the Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Officer on the National Board.
In his work and in his life, he is motivated by 3 very simple yet powerful words: Invitation, Innovation, Celebration. His passion and commitment for creating an equitable world for people of all abilities, identities, and experiences is also driven by these beliefs.
We are all global citizens, and once we remember that how we learn in life is to be engaged by it, we will allow people the opportunities to do so.
