This 90-minute training provides an in-depth look at common design and construction violations under the Fair Housing Act (FHA) and practical solutions from real case studies. This session will help participants distinguish between design and construction problems, understand best practices that exceed FHA requirements, and explore feasible solutions to frequent accessibility challenges. Attendees will also have the opportunity to ask live questions and receive expert guidance on FHA compliance.

By the end of this training, participants will be able to identify common violations and effective solutions in accessible routes, public and common use spaces, doors, kitchens, bathrooms, and control placements. The session will also cover reinforced wall requirements, FHA-compliant design practices, and strategies to prevent liability risks. Whether you’re a housing provider, architect, or builder, this webinar will give you the tools to enhance compliance and avoid costly mistakes.
