As digital tools become increasingly essential in today’s workplace, the ability to navigate and operate a computer independently can play a critical role in securing and maintaining employment. Join us for a free webinar as we provide a comprehensive introduction to assistive technology devices that support computer access for individuals with physical disabilities.

This session will highlight a range of assistive technologies—from voice recognition software and alternative input devices to eye-tracking systems and adaptive keyboards. Perspectives from users with disabilities will also be discussed. Overall, participants will gain an understanding of how these tools can help overcome common barriers to computer use, enabling more effective communication, task management, and professional engagement.

With a background of 30 years focused on assistive technology (AT) and individuals’ communication needs, Jennifer Ro has developed extensive knowledge and experience related to Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) and AT.

Rachel Scarboro, OTD, OTR/L
Occupational Therapist | Tools for Life
In her current role as TFL Occupational Therapist, Rachel helps consumers find AT solutions for their activities of daily living. She is also the lead for TFL’s adaptive gaming initiatives.

Hunter McFeron, MEd, CCC-SLP
Assistive Technology Services Acquisition Manager | Tools for Life
Hunter manages the Tools for Life lending library and provides guidance and resources for individuals across the state on acquiring assistive technology. He is proud to be working with a phenomenal team as they advocate for and support the needs of the community..
