On Thursday, March 28, 2024 — in a one-day hybrid event in Washington, DC and via Zoom — the Institute on Disability at the University of New Hampshire will be releasing The Annual Disability Statistics Collection, which fills critical gaps in national, state, and historic data related to people with disabilities by synthesizing complex data from numerous U.S. federal agencies into accessible formats. The Conference will also include two sessions addressing the latest in disability statistics, including survey methods and how disability is defined in national surveys.

The Annual Disability Statistics Collection (ADSC) is designed to make finding and using disability statistics easier for individuals working on legislative and other matters relating to persons with disabilities.

Key Elements from this year’s ADSC include:

  • The Annual Disability Statistics Compendium.
  • A new, interactive web version of The Annual Disability Statistics Compendium allowing for greater disaggregation of statistics by demographics.
