The Memphis [Tennessee] District Office of the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) is moving, the federal agency announced today. The new office, which should provide improved security and accessibility for the public, is [located at] 200 Jefferson Avenue, Suite 1400, Memphis, TN 38103. Telephone numbers and email addresses will remain the same.
The Memphis District Office is responsible for processing charges of discrimination against private, state, and local government employers in Arkansas, Tennessee, and parts of Mississippi and for conducting hearings regarding complaints against federal government employers in this geographic area.
During the transition, the office will be closed to the public for walk-in services and will reopen at the new location on or about March 20. However, the office is operational and meeting the needs of stakeholders virtually.
