Celebrate. Learn. Share – ADA 36th Anniversary

This year (2026) marks the 36th Anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) since the ADA was signed into law on July 26, 1990. The ADA is a civil rights law that prohibits discrimination against individuals with disabilities in many areas of public life, including jobs, schools, transportation, and many public and private places that are open to the general public.

Follow along in July and during the year as the Southeast ADA Center and the ADA National Network share about the ADA and access for people with disabilities.
