This commitment involves ensuring that those officials responsible for ADA compliance possess the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to be successful in their duties.\nFor this purpose, the Georgia State ADA Coordinator’s Office is hosting a three-day ADA Conference: “The 2022 Virtual ADA Conference for State and Local Governments.”\nPresenters from the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), the State of Georgia, the Center for Inclusive Design and Innovation (CIDI), Evan Terry Associates, Equip for Equality, the Job Accommodation Network (JAN), the North Carolina Council on Developmental Disabilities (NCCDD), and Grace Anthony Counseling will provide the latest information on the ADA regulations, accessibility standards, implementation strategies, and best practices for State and local government entities.\nWho should attend?:\nThis conference is intended for State and local government agency ADA Coordinators, program officials, facility administrators, human resources professionals, and other individuals with ADA compliance responsibilities under Title I and/or Title II. Our goal is to make sure participants get useful information that is applicable to their work, and the session schedule is designed to meet the needs of attendees from these varied occupations and backgrounds.\nContinuing education credit is available.\n
