The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission’s (EEOC) 22nd annual Examining Conflicts in Employment Laws (EXCEL) Training Conference registration is now open. The EXCEL conference emphasizes preventing employment discrimination in federal and private sectors. The conference will take place in Atlanta, Georgia, at the Marriott Marquis hotel from July 30, 2019 to August 1, 2019.

This annual training conference is designed for alternative dispute resolution (ADR) specialists, attorneys, EEO professionals, and human resource (HR) managers and supervisors in the private sector, state and local government, and federal agencies.

Attendees will learn the latest developments in enforcing EEO laws directly from EEOC experts. EXCEL offers a pre-conference and workshop sessions that focus on harassment and discrimination prevention, workplace civility, workplace accountability, ADR, barrier analysis, medical marijuana in the workplace, opioids, managing tricky HR and reasonable accommodation issues, settlement strategies, social media in the workplace, workplace inclusion, and much more. Additionally, the conference offers continuing education credits for Human Resources Certification Institute (HRCI), Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM), and Continuing Legal Education (CLE). Furthermore, the conference will offer networking opportunities with leading EEO professionals. The EEOC is excited to host the EXCEL Training Conference for the first time in Atlanta.

Conference details including the agenda, pricing, attendee and exhibitor registration, are available at EXCEL 2019. Registration information can also be obtained by phone at 866-446-0940 or email at eeoc.traininginstitute@eeoc.gov.
