Participate in ABLE Act Online Dialogue until May 12

May 2, 2017
Source: LEAD Center

You are invited to participate in The ABLE Act: A Tool for Financial Stability and Employment Outcomes, a new ePolicyWorks online dialogue hosted by the U.S. Department of Labors Office of Disability Employment Policys LEAD Center in support of their efforts to explore ways that ABLE accounts can be used to advance employment and financial self-sufficiency for youth and adults with disabilities.

Through this dialogue, which is ongoing until May 12, we are seeking your ideas on ways to reach out to and educate potential ABLE account owners, what supports potential owners need to open and maintain these accounts and what advocates and service providers should know about the benefits of ABLE accounts. Your input in this virtual discussion will play an integral role in informing the LEAD Centers work to increase understanding and provide guidance on how ABLE accounts can be used to assist youth and adults with disabilities in securing and maintaining competitive integrated employment.

Please register to join this important conversation and help spread the word to other participants who may be interested. To learn more about this dialogue, the ABLE Act and the LEAD Center, visit
