On-line Survey: Air Travel for People Who Use Wheelchairs

If you use a wheelchair and have flown in a commercial aircraft in the last 5 years, we are interested in your input. Please fill out the survey by going to the following SurveyMonkey website at Survey: Air Travel for People Who Use Wheelchairs Most of the Time.

This survey is designed to gather evidence pertaining to how passengers who are non-ambulatory board an aircraft, sit in the aircraft seat, and what experiences they have had related to transport of the wheelchair. This survey should take approximately 10 to 15 minutes to complete.

Participants must meet the following criteria:

  • 18-70 years old
  • Non-ambulatory
  • Use a manual or power wheelchair

This research is from the the the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago (RIC), an academic affiliate of Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine and funded by the Paralyzed Veterans of America (PVA)#3028.
