An Update on ADA Drive-by Lawsuits
Wednesday, November 15, 2017
1:00 P.M. to 2:30 P.M. EST
Webinar Series: ADA Legal Issues
from the Great Lakes ADA Center, member of the ADA National Network
Recent news segments focused on ways in which some consumers and their attorneys misused the ADA in so-called “Drive-by” Lawsuits and caused widespread confusion and reaction among the general public. The truth is considerably different than what has been represented by the media, anti-civil rights forces, and a legitimately scared but reactionary business community. Attorney J. Aaron McCullough will provide an update on so-called ADA "drive-by" lawsuits across the country, including some of the more recent media reports on this issue. This webinar will focus on the legal reality behind these lawsuits and also take a look at proposed legal reform and related updates on this issue.
